I found some old dry 2" x 6" s in my barn that had a lot of character and I decided to make them into a mirror frame. This frame is approximately 3ft x 4ft so this is a good sized mirror. The wood had been sanded and ground down to show the natural colors and knots.
The mirror for this pieces was picked up in a second hand shop and had it's own interesting history. It was made in 1959, back east by the Galax Mirror company.
